Animal Totem

Last week, my sister made me answer: the “Animal Totem Quiz”.

And I got hummingbird!! And my boo got my favorite.. butterfly!! Huwaaaa.

Anyway, a few days after, I saw 2 hummingbirds outside our home… but I couldn’t get a photo of them because they were darn too quick for me and the camera!

And today… what prompted me to acknowledge… the hummingbird?

Because, I had my third sign today…

One… it is Earth Day and if you do a Google Search … it feautures a Hummingbird to represent Earth Day.

And second? While I was…. browsing Facebook?

I saw an article: “How to attract hummingbirds in your backyard”.

And to that… I know repeating messages, are no joke….

and so with this post… I acknowledge… and say Yes to it.

Saying yes … to joy and lightness of being.

Later, I’ll post what hummingbirds are all about……

Owl always love you

We had a total of 9 signs of owls for the day! Its bee and I. Huwaat does it mean?

20131021-223016.jpg

The owl is sacred to the Greek goddess of learning, Athena and is even depicted on some Greco-Roman currency as a symbol of status, intelligence and of course, wealth.

Quick Meanings: Wisdom, Transition, mystery, Messages, Intelligence, mysticism, Protection, Secrets…

Similarly, West African and Aboriginal Australian cultures viewed the owl as a messenger of secrets, kin to sorcerers, as well as companions to seers, mystics and medicine people.

Huwaaa Aussieee? *wink wink*

Open to receiveeee!

Watery Emotions

Last night, i was flipping channels on TV (which I rarely do), and saw this Filipino documentary which features the stingray and some sharks… and guess what… when i switched channels.. it’s a cartoon of stingrays and sharks on the next program!!!

I found that fishy… and thought it was a symbol… it didn’t come in three’s but I was curious enough to search:
Here you go for Stingrays:

Stingrays may be telling you to not overreact to your emotions, to calm down and wait before reacting.Β  Balance and restraint are strong themes of this totem animal. When it appears to you consider your actions carefully and allow your intuition to guide you rather than raw emotion. – Totem Wisdom

For Sharks:

  • Be active in life.
  • Attune to natural instinct.
  • Be propelled forward (do not regress) in your evolution.
  • Although surrounded by emotions, you need not be consumed by them.
  • Swim the path of least resistance in life, be efficient and direct in your navigations.Β Β  – What’s Your Sign

And both of these creatures, I deem to have negative connotations. But, now… looking at and perceiving what they actually symbolizes… I changed my mind. I’m super amazed with sharks…. πŸ˜‰

So, what’s the connection with them in my life?

It’s quiet perfect because it is dealing with my emotions… and it seems like it’s on the edge now… teetering…Β  it was right with the stingray… to not overreact with my emotions.. because I do that lately. So… it calls for me to balance and restrain…trust my intuition. πŸ™‚

and it is being supported by the shark telling me… to attune to my natural and ancient instinct .. and to swim the path of least resistance… and to master my emotions!!! πŸ™‚

Thanks for the snippets dear angels!!! πŸ™‚

Moon Goddesses

It’s been 3 months now, that my menstruation happens during the Full Moon Cycle. I noticed it last May 2012. And it has been consistent until today. Then, I decided to go search the net and find out all about Moon Cycles and the Female’s Cycle.

It is said that all life forms have it’s season and cycles – cycle of birth, growth, death and renewal. And it is being mirrored in the progressive phases of the moon cycle.

I feel it is important to appreciate the rhythmic dance of our menstrual cycle and be in harmony, by understanding it.

I read that the natural cycle of women who live and sleep out in the open away from artificial light is to ovulate on the full moon and menstruate on the new moon. But this is not the case for most modern women whose natural rhythms are largely affected by artificial light.

Some women may menstruate on the crescent moon, some on the full moon, some on the waning moon, and others on the new moon. According to Dragontime by Luisa Francia, specific moon phase energies, when magnified by menstruation can be freed up and made available for use if we choose to work with them.

So, definetly, I fall under the case of the modern women. πŸ™‚

For Full Moon:

The full moon represents fire, abundance, power and vitality. It’s time to claim one’s own power, make decisions, work changes, and bring something into being. The energy of full moon menstruation is outward, world-nourishing. Feasts and celebration go well with full moon bleeding. The transformational quality of the fire energy makes it an ideal time to learn to transform negative energies into positive ones: rage into creative action, belly cramps into sensuousness. Ishtar, the Red Goddess of Babylon is the guardian of this menstrual fire.

When a woman bleeds with the full moon, this mode of cycling enhances inner expression, intuition and the development of the inner, spiritual life. – Moon Cycle

It’s kind of funny, how when I was younger, I hated having menstruation. I feel it kind of ruins my activity, and it makes me feel uncomfortable specially when one is camping and out to have long days. But lately, I am beginning to acknowledge the importance and is looking forward to it! (Also, it’s physical importance, as it cleans you. It’s funny, I also talk and thank my cycle for being there and cleaning me!)

Also found a resource about Female Energy Cycles and Women Archetypes that are present during menstruation… well it will have to be explained on my next post! Since, this is becoming a novel and not a snippet anymore! πŸ™‚

The Swarm

Buzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz…….

What an unusual sound. When I checked what was going outside, lo and behold a swarm of bees surrounded the half part of our garden, near our patio.

At first glance, the thought: “Uh oh…. can’t go out of the house now. What if they don’t leave?”

But, then…. observing them from a distance, and how unusual it is for them to be swarming at our home (it’s my first time to see them that many), I suddenly remembered the growing concern about the population of the bees.

And how bees are vital to our cycle. That even, Einstein and Steiner themselves emphasized their role, biologically.

A surge of gratefulness filled my heart, as I saw them en masse…. it gave me hope, that we can live beyond the four years prediction when they disappear fromΒ  Planet Earth.

Good thing, more and more people are becoming aware of their importance, and I heard two or three from our community who are into bee keeping now… (Mr Nic Perlas, Tito Leo Avila and Kuya Jude of Bayawan).

and yes, they swarmed our home, because I found out they have a previous hive in a corner of our house. And yes, they have returned. It did not cause any problem to us, so I guess letting them stay there is okay, besides our home is safe from all chemicals and pesticides anyway… they can pollinate to their hearts content.

Also in animal symbol:

Bees are a symbol of hope and an inspiration for cleanliness, social organization, diligence, tireless work, honey-sweet rhetoric, intelligence and poetry. πŸ˜‰ The bee seems to be a symbol of the original source of all life and inspiration. Indeed, the bee was usually looked upon as a symbol of the potency of nature, because while creating a magickal elixir, known for its preservation properties, they were also pollinating flowers, increasing plant fertility, and abundance. Because of these symbolic meanings, the bee has been used as an emblem by those who wish to associate themselves with the inspiration of the Gods.

The bee and its wax are important symbols for initiates of mystery religions. Beeswax was prized for the making of votive images in Pagan temples. Wax representations of various parts of the body in need of healing were offered to the Gods.

Not just the wax, but all the produce of the bee was special and sacred, for it was honey or ambrosia on which the gods dined, and which gave them their immortality.

The bee was even considered symbolic of Christ and Mary, for the bees were said to “produce posterity yet retain their virginity”.

I could write the entire article, because I was just so amused with what BEES stands for.

Now, I’m loving the bees…….

Do, take care of the BEES!

It’s a message from my angels once again…… πŸ™‚

The Falls

Another one of my weird dreams… I woke up with the name: “Ron Paul” left. I don’t know who Ron Paul is! I don’t have the slightest until I searched online…. and found out he is running as President for the United States. I don’t know what that would mean…. however the dream ended with him recognized as Ron Paul and ended up it wasn’t Ron Paul after all. -_- Just sharing. I dont know what it means too.

Also, just today I got a message from Ate Q. saying that God has a message for me. Translated to English: “Tell her about your trip from Cagayan to Davao in a helicopter three years ago. And what you saw over Bukidnon. A large falls much larger than Ma. Cristina is what she saw.” The pilot of the helicopter does not know until now, where the area is. And there were no residents in the area. It was his first time to see it too.

Ate Q. says it can be one source of energy.

I searched online about Bukidnon and found out there are lots of falls. Maybe Bukidnon’s forest is too large? I havent noticed cause I always pass there

Mhmm… I’m still deciphering what the message means. I;ll keep a close watch on it. Maybe, it’s an answer to my prayer when I climbed El Salvador and praying to stop the coal plant in Davao… maybe this could be the answer. But, I don’t know what to do pa. -_- Maybe ill open this up to the group in MISSION and maybe one of them knows about the area…..
Thank you God for the message. πŸ™‚ Love you!

and you are free

It has been a year since my dad had his third stroke attack, triggered mainly by the heat. We were transferring the wellness center I used to run into something home-based until we find a suitable location. But, then it happened. So, for a year… dad has been into a lot of therapies we could get our hands into. He had a few “suhi’s” who therapied him through massage, there’s the American chiropractor, our homeopathic medical doctor (whom i’m striking to have some sort of an x-deal regarding the services we used to run), our holistic practitioner who happens to be a good friend of ours and the latest Catholic priest who does acupuncture.

but, still he has some discomforts specially on the leg area. anyway, one day my mom just stayed home…. grounding herself, went outside early in the morning to do some sort of sun-bathing (early morning sun is therapeutic) while being barefoot. and then she had it…. “are caged birds good energy?” was the question she got herself.

and in feng-shui.. having caged birds means stunting of growth. and is somewhat correlated with legs about not being able to move forward.

and so, the next day… we decided to set the birds free.

at first we set it free outside the philippine eagle sanctuary. but, good thing an angel who cares about birds…. directed us to Malagos Garden where we could donate and let them take care of it before having it released to the wild.

i wasn’t able to get his number but he was wearing a jersey with the number 15 which happens to be my sister’s favorite number.
