Animal Totem

Last week, my sister made me answer: the “Animal Totem Quiz”.

And I got hummingbird!! And my boo got my favorite.. butterfly!! Huwaaaa.

Anyway, a few days after, I saw 2 hummingbirds outside our home… but I couldn’t get a photo of them because they were darn too quick for me and the camera!

And today… what prompted me to acknowledge… the hummingbird?

Because, I had my third sign today…

One… it is Earth Day and if you do a Google Search … it feautures a Hummingbird to represent Earth Day.

And second? While I was…. browsing Facebook?

I saw an article: “How to attract hummingbirds in your backyard”.

And to that… I know repeating messages, are no joke….

and so with this post… I acknowledge… and say Yes to it.

Saying yes … to joy and lightness of being.

Later, I’ll post what hummingbirds are all about……

Owl always love you

We had a total of 9 signs of owls for the day! Its bee and I. Huwaat does it mean?

The owl is sacred to the Greek goddess of learning, Athena and is even depicted on some Greco-Roman currency as a symbol of status, intelligence and of course, wealth.

Quick Meanings: Wisdom, Transition, mystery, Messages, Intelligence, mysticism, Protection, Secrets…

Similarly, West African and Aboriginal Australian cultures viewed the owl as a messenger of secrets, kin to sorcerers, as well as companions to seers, mystics and medicine people.

Huwaaa Aussieee? *wink wink*

Watery Emotions

Last night, i was flipping channels on TV (which I rarely do), and saw this Filipino documentary which features the stingray and some sharks… and guess what… when i switched channels.. it’s a cartoon of stingrays and sharks on the next program!!!

I found that fishy… and thought it was a symbol… it didn’t come in three’s but I was curious enough to search:
Here you go for Stingrays:

Stingrays may be telling you to not overreact to your emotions, to calm down and wait before reacting.Β  Balance and restraint are strong themes of this totem animal. When it appears to you consider your actions carefully and allow your intuition to guide you rather than raw emotion. – Totem Wisdom

For Sharks:

  • Be active in life.
  • Attune to natural instinct.
  • Be propelled forward (do not regress) in your evolution.
  • Although surrounded by emotions, you need not be consumed by them.
  • Swim the path of least resistance in life, be efficient and direct in your navigations.Β Β  – What’s Your Sign

And both of these creatures, I deem to have negative connotations. But, now… looking at and perceiving what they actually symbolizes… I changed my mind. I’m super amazed with sharks…. πŸ˜‰

So, what’s the connection with them in my life?

It’s quiet perfect because it is dealing with my emotions… and it seems like it’s on the edge now… teetering…Β  it was right with the stingray… to not overreact with my emotions.. because I do that lately. So… it calls for me to balance and restrain…trust my intuition. πŸ™‚

and it is being supported by the shark telling me… to attune to my natural and ancient instinct .. and to swim the path of least resistance… and to master my emotions!!! πŸ™‚

Thanks for the snippets dear angels!!! πŸ™‚

The Swarm

Buzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz…….

What an unusual sound. When I checked what was going outside, lo and behold a swarm of bees surrounded the half part of our garden, near our patio.

At first glance, the thought: “Uh oh…. can’t go out of the house now. What if they don’t leave?”

But, then…. observing them from a distance, and how unusual it is for them to be swarming at our home (it’s my first time to see them that many), I suddenly remembered the growing concern about the population of the bees.

And how bees are vital to our cycle. That even, Einstein and Steiner themselves emphasized their role, biologically.

A surge of gratefulness filled my heart, as I saw them en masse…. it gave me hope, that we can live beyond the four years prediction when they disappear fromΒ  Planet Earth.

Good thing, more and more people are becoming aware of their importance, and I heard two or three from our community who are into bee keeping now… (Mr Nic Perlas, Tito Leo Avila and Kuya Jude of Bayawan).

and yes, they swarmed our home, because I found out they have a previous hive in a corner of our house. And yes, they have returned. It did not cause any problem to us, so I guess letting them stay there is okay, besides our home is safe from all chemicals and pesticides anyway… they can pollinate to their hearts content.

Also in animal symbol:

Bees are a symbol of hope and an inspiration for cleanliness, social organization, diligence, tireless work, honey-sweet rhetoric, intelligence and poetry. πŸ˜‰ The bee seems to be a symbol of the original source of all life and inspiration. Indeed, the bee was usually looked upon as a symbol of the potency of nature, because while creating a magickal elixir, known for its preservation properties, they were also pollinating flowers, increasing plant fertility, and abundance. Because of these symbolic meanings, the bee has been used as an emblem by those who wish to associate themselves with the inspiration of the Gods.

The bee and its wax are important symbols for initiates of mystery religions. Beeswax was prized for the making of votive images in Pagan temples. Wax representations of various parts of the body in need of healing were offered to the Gods.

Not just the wax, but all the produce of the bee was special and sacred, for it was honey or ambrosia on which the gods dined, and which gave them their immortality.

The bee was even considered symbolic of Christ and Mary, for the bees were said to “produce posterity yet retain their virginity”.

I could write the entire article, because I was just so amused with what BEES stands for.

Now, I’m loving the bees…….

Do, take care of the BEES!

It’s a message from my angels once again…… πŸ™‚
