Animal Totem

Last week, my sister made me answer: the “Animal Totem Quiz”.

And I got hummingbird!! And my boo got my favorite.. butterfly!! Huwaaaa.

Anyway, a few days after, I saw 2 hummingbirds outside our home… but I couldn’t get a photo of them because they were darn too quick for me and the camera!

And today… what prompted me to acknowledge… the hummingbird?

Because, I had my third sign today…

One… it is Earth Day and if you do a Google Search … it feautures a Hummingbird to represent Earth Day.

And second? While I was…. browsing Facebook?

I saw an article: “How to attract hummingbirds in your backyard”.

And to that… I know repeating messages, are no joke….

and so with this post… I acknowledge… and say Yes to it.

Saying yes … to joy and lightness of being.

Later, I’ll post what hummingbirds are all about……

Transformation & Purification

a few nights ago, i dreamed of a long black snake. While it did not bite me or anything it unnerved me but not enough for me to shout. Just stood there, motionless.

it took me awhile to search for the meaning as I was thinking it might mean a “betrayal” which is my usual interpretation of snake dreams. But, then ive been having urges lately to search for the meaning. and I gave in tonight:
and here’s what i found… which i see and feel to be the meaning of my dream: (ive chosen only the meanings that seem appropriate to what i am going thru right now.

Black snake dream meanings:

  • Deeply rooted instincts, drives
  • Significant transformation, changes in your life
  • What is unconscious, unknown

Dream Meaning #1: Black snakes represent emotional darkness

Dreaming of that animal dressed in black denotes the quality of your mood in your waking life. The appearance of a black snake suggests that you are experiencing deep changes in your life and are involved, consciously or not, in a grieving process as you are leaving the past or old ideas behind. These changes may come with feelings of sadness, loss, depression.  ->
*well, im not experiencing any loss or grieving. but im experiencing some emotional darkness when being pressured or being with someone who is emotionally distraught wew.

Dream Meaning #2: Transformation and important life changes

Black snakes in dreams are associated with  the power of deep transformations that rise up from the unconscious as symbolized by the darkness. This animal may indicate that you are facing a lot of unknowns in your life, whether it’s in a new relationship or taking on new responsibilities at work. Dreaming of a dark snake is likely a call to grow, transform, as you move from the unconscious and unknown to more awareness about yourself and what matters in your life.

*This is the most probable meaning to my dream since i am going through profound life changes lately. and life has been speeding up!!!!!! WEWWW!

Well, thats all for now! Onwards to transformation!!!

this time, a feather.

the feather!

I was sending loving energies to a long time family friend who asked for healing energies(Bhet therapy from a distance) as she is feeling discomfort. And i was focusing on just that. just then, i had this sort of flash of a white vintage lady while my eyes were closed. but, i was thinking.. well that was some random image on my head i think. i went to the bathroom to wash my hands (as i was handling some money) then on the mirror.. i saw a white feather on top of my head!

and i was like! Oh my! a message! i was in no way near a chicken the past few days… or anything feathery or with white feathers!!! I AM SO HAPPYYY!!!!

Thank you dear angels. They say, this is an omen that one is on the right track or to answer a call.. mhmmm… thank you dear angels! so closer now!

and you are free

It has been a year since my dad had his third stroke attack, triggered mainly by the heat. We were transferring the wellness center I used to run into something home-based until we find a suitable location. But, then it happened. So, for a year… dad has been into a lot of therapies we could get our hands into. He had a few “suhi’s” who therapied him through massage, there’s the American chiropractor, our homeopathic medical doctor (whom i’m striking to have some sort of an x-deal regarding the services we used to run), our holistic practitioner who happens to be a good friend of ours and the latest Catholic priest who does acupuncture.

but, still he has some discomforts specially on the leg area. anyway, one day my mom just stayed home…. grounding herself, went outside early in the morning to do some sort of sun-bathing (early morning sun is therapeutic) while being barefoot. and then she had it…. “are caged birds good energy?” was the question she got herself.

and in feng-shui.. having caged birds means stunting of growth. and is somewhat correlated with legs about not being able to move forward.

and so, the next day… we decided to set the birds free.

at first we set it free outside the philippine eagle sanctuary. but, good thing an angel who cares about birds…. directed us to Malagos Garden where we could donate and let them take care of it before having it released to the wild.

i wasn’t able to get his number but he was wearing a jersey with the number 15 which happens to be my sister’s favorite number.
